1) Welcome to the new mostly-text Emperor X website. I'm writing a long, crazed rant on why I'm choosing to keep the site nice and sparse like this from now on. It will appear in the chewed up text-image things over on the right gradually over the next few weeks, scrambled beyond hope of visual decipherability. If anyone wants to play with these characters and see if they can untangle the words and learn the gory details of what I'm obsessing over (hint: informaitonal content vs. aural experience), I'll be both embarassed and flattered. 2) The Blythe Archives has been delayed. It will definitely be out some time this year, though. My thanks go to Scott at Burnt Toast Vinyl and Mark-n-Matt at Harvest Recordings for their immense patience. 3) The revamped Dirtcaster/Songspewer podcast and newsletter will commence shortly.
